Nineveh Farm, Trewellard, Pendeen, Cornwall.
A new studio work shed that replaces an old block built stable building. The building, although for residential use ancillary to the farm house, is designed to be autonomous in its use so the occupants need not rely on the services in the house during the day as the site is quite exposed to the weather.
The design is also intended to give the building the appearacne of an agricultural shed on what was once a working farm so that when viewed from the surrounding area the group of buildings amongst which is sits retain an identity as a farm group. The timber and corrugtaed metal finishes also allow for a much more economical construction mehtodology.
