Myrio - Hillside living in Sennen Cove

BRIEF

To create an efficient home that makes the most of a elevated coastal location overlooking Sennen beach. Carefully framed panoramic sea views looking out from a daylit modern interior, encased in a modest well finished exterior.

DESIGN

A new energy efficient coastal dwelling with panoramic views over Whitesand Bay. The site is steep so the building is set back into the hill and anchored to the bedrock allowing the structure to cantilever out. The green roof further sets the house into the hillside lessening the apparent massing of the building as it dissolves into the steep granite gradient.
